Privacy Policy

The short version

Kind Whisper does not require a consumer account or create an in-app history of your conversations. The message, optional context, relationship, goal and choices you submit are processed to return the result you requested. We do not sell personal information or use your message content for advertising.

What we process

• Message content. The text you submit and optional context needed to produce your result.
• Product choices. Mode, personal or work setting, tone and refinement choices.
• Local product metrics. The app may keep limited events on your device, such as rewrite started, result returned, refinement used and copy selected, to help measure whether the experience is useful. These local events do not contain the text of your message.
• Support and pilot inquiries. If you contact us, we receive the information you choose to provide.
• Technical records. Hosting and security providers may process IP address, request timing, errors and similar records needed to deliver and protect the service.

How messages are handled

Messages are used to return the requested result and are not added to a user-facing message history. When AI processing is enabled, submitted text may be sent to OpenAI as a service provider. Kind Whisper does not claim that message content is never present in provider or infrastructure records, so do not submit information that is unnecessary for the communication task.

Do not submit passwords, payment card numbers, government identifiers, health records or other sensitive information that is not needed for the message you are working on.

What we measure

We want to know whether people reach useful wording quickly, not what their private conversations say. Product measurement is designed around events such as mode selected, rewrite requested, response time, refinement requested and copy selected. Message text should not be included in those product events.

Work and school pilots

Pilot terms may include additional privacy, security, usage and retention details agreed with the participating organization. We do not promise compliance certifications or contractual protections that have not actually been established for a specific deployment.

How information is used and shared

We use information to provide Kind Whisper, answer support and pilot requests, prevent abuse, maintain the service and comply with law. Hosting, security, email and AI service providers may process information for those purposes. We do not sell personal information or use third-party advertising trackers.

Retention and your choices

Kind Whisper does not intentionally keep a consumer-facing message history. Infrastructure and service providers may retain limited operational records under their own security and retention practices. Emails and pilot inquiries are kept as reasonably needed to respond and maintain required business records.

Because the consumer tool does not require an account, there may be no account profile to delete. For a privacy request, email hello@kindwhisper.com.

Children, security and changes

The general consumer product is not directed to children under 13. Early school pilots are intended for adult teachers, administrators, counselors and staff unless a separate student experience and appropriate safeguards are established. No networked service can guarantee absolute security.
