Two situations people your age run into. There isn't always one perfect answer. Pick a choice, see what could happen, then look at a safer move.

Scenario 01 · Group-chat exclusion and mocking

The Other Chat

You are in the group. Seven friends from the same lunch table share a group chat called "sat plans." On Thursday night, Jordan starts a second chat with everyone except Maya and names it "sat plans (real)." You get added.

You are in the group chat. Alex told Riley in a private message that he likes Dani. Riley screenshotted it and posted it in a group chat of six. You're in the group. Dani is not.

If it's more than practice

Some situations need an adult today.

Threats, talk of self-harm, sexual images of anyone under 18 (real or fake), or someone threatening to share a photo unless you pay or send more. Tell a trusted adult right away. If someone is in immediate danger, call 911. To talk to someone now, call or text 988.
